1. Letting Go
The path of healing is one of letting go.
“I was asked ‘are you proud of who you have become’ – and I thought about that for a moment and then I said ‘you know, I haven’t actually become anyone, I have just released all that was blocking me from being who I really am'.”
Gabby Bernstein
To be who we really are, we need to release all that we are not.
Our Soul’s purpose isn’t something that we do, it’s something that we are. It’s who we be.
The old adage that 'hurt people, hurt people' is so true and opens us up to compassion - to more love not less, for ourselves and others.
We all have trauma, we all have coping strategies, we all have baggage we’ve inherited from our upbringing, ancestors and past lives. It may not have been of our making, but it is our responsibility and opportunity to embark on healing ourselves from it.
“Awareness is like the sun. When it shines on things, they are transformed.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
As we heal and become more consciously aware, the less we get tripped up and pulled back by our unconscious patterns and fragmented shadow parts. The less we try and control and coerce things outside of ourselves to feel safe, seen and secure.
We become kinder and more loving to ourselves and others. More able to overcome patterns of addiction, self-sabotage and suffering.
We to take back our power and become radically responsible for our lives.
We create more inner harmony, more space for peace, for love, for creative flow. The more consciously aware and loving we become, the more our choices reflect this – meaning we cause less harm and do better in the world and in turn the more the world reflects this back to us.
With less internal resistance, we become better manifestors and open the way to co-create with the universe our hearts desires and to live a life we truly love.
Not only do we benefit. We break patterns of trauma for our benefit and the benefit of future generations.
Truly, we begin to heal the planet by healing ourselves, one person at a time, from the inside out. Liberating our light and remembering our truth. Taking back our power from the egoic mind (that was never designed to be in charge) and instead, allowing the Soul to lead more and more, enabling us to leave a legacy of love.
As we follow our Soul’s path, the journey deepens as we align with and embody more of our light.
This is the greatest ‘work’ we can do whilst we are here.
2. Hearing the call
“We’re all just walking each other home.”
Ram Dass
I believe that you already know if you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing and actualisation. There’s a feeling, a knowing within your body. If I can help with a part of your journey, then you will have been guided here for a reason.
We were never meant to do any of these things alone. There is always support available – seen and unseen. Sometimes we just have to remember to ask, look out for the signs and trust the guidance we receive.
“A miracle is a shift in perception from fear love – from a belief in what is not real, to faith in that which is.”
A Course in Miracles
We are always being called to awaken back to love; little awakenings happen moment to moment (it’s never just a one-time thing)!
However, the spiritual path of awakening isn’t everyone’s path. For those who chose it, it often begins during times of great change or big transition, when our usual patterns get interrupted.
Sometimes change is initiated by an inspired step towards a dream. Other times, it’s the push of a challenge, loss or pain necessitating a change of course or a divine redirection. Either way, you are ready to delve deeper, to question things, to begin an exploration into the vast intelligence – a quest for truth and for freedom.
The spiritual journey is really about finding our way back to love. From fear, separation and fragmentation back to wholeness, truth and freedom.
Beginning by getting to know and accept who you truly are and then learning to love all that you are, unconditionally. In the process, shedding the layers of distortion, unconscious patterns, trauma and false identity that was never truly yours to begin with. Whilst liberating and embodying more and more of your Soul’s light.
"What lies ahead of us and what lies behind us are small matters in comparison to what lies within us."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
3. How we can journey together
You are a magnificent, radiant, pure being of light. You are this Soul – who chose to come to earth to have a human experience. You did this to grow and expand on a Soul level – and perhaps also with the double mission to also help raise the consciousness of the planet!
When we begin to zoom out and look at our life from this higher vantage point of the Soul’s perspective, we can begin to see the hidden gifts and blessings within every situation.
It brings purpose to our pain, meaning to the seemingly futile experiences and forgiveness to ourselves and what we have been through. That is not to negate from or bypass the very real human felt experience of pain and suffering.
You were never expected to be perfect, to get it right or be ‘high vibe’ all the time. That isn’t the hallmarks of spiritual success. The path is much simpler and humbler – to surrender to what is, to be with it, to befriend it, to learn from it, to accept its blessing. Even when you don’t like it – especially when you don’t like it - even when you don't understand it.
To remember, everything is here to help you grow, it is all a gift, that you are and always have been enough and that you have within you the same power as that which created you – to manifest from thoughts to things. To have, be and do whatever you desire.
And ultimately, along the way, to love everything. To be present to it all, to learn to love the unfolding journey and to be forgiving as you continue to learn and grow whilst here in Earth School.
